A DigiJournal Update: Progress Toward a Smarter Notary Solution

At Digico LLC, we’ve been hard at work refining DigiJournal, the offline digital notary journal that’s set to simplify record-keeping for notaries public. As the creator—and a notary myself—I’ve been using DigiJournal in my own practice for the past three years, putting it through its paces to ensure it meets the real-world demands of our profession. Today, I’m excited to share a quick update on where we’re headed.

DigiJournal is evolving. Based on my own experience and feedback from testing, we’re enhancing the platform to squash bugs and introduce improvements that make it even more reliable and user-friendly. From smoother stylus input to tighter security features, this updated version is shaping up to be a tool notaries can trust for both tangible and electronic records—all without an internet connection.

We’re also building an online licensing page to make DigiJournal accessible. Soon, notaries will be able to purchase a license key to unlock the app on their own tablet or order a pre-loaded DigiJournal tablet directly from us. This process is in development, and we’re programming it with the same care we’ve put into the journal itself—ensuring it’s straightforward and secure.

While I won’t pin down an exact launch date just yet, we’re moving steadily toward introducing DigiJournal to the notary community. It’s been a journey of fine-tuning a solution that’s worked for me in practice, and I’m eager to share it with others who value efficiency, privacy, and control in their journaling.
